Who Should Attend: This course is designed for water treatment systems operators and maintainers

Description: This course is designed for operators and maintainers who desire an understanding of the Safe Drinking Water Act and water treatment technologies including process control. The topics selected are based on the ABC Need-To-Know Criteria for the Class III & IV Water Treatment Certification Exams.

Topics include:

Rules & Regulations
Review of ABC Formula Sheet
Conversions: Area, Volume, Pounds, MGD, Time, Q
Water Treatment Plants: Coagulation, Filtration, Sedimentation, Filtration, Disinfection
Water Treatment Process Control:
- Dosage Rates
- Process Control Calculations (water treatment facility)
- Results of Laboratory Testing
